Lines: 38 This was in the Penn State Daily Collegian last spring. I just ran accross it again, and thought it was worth posting. It is, of course, reprinted without permission. The State College Police Department reported yesterday that a crank caller, using the guise of a Uniersity employee, entered a State College woman's home last month and indecently assaulted her. Investigator (name omitted) said the man had called the woman and said he was a University employee. The man asked the woman a list of questions that began to take on sexual overtones. The man said he was working on a new invention to detect breast cancer, the police said. He said the invention, when connected to the telephone, could detect lumps if she rubbed her breasts with the receiver. The woman followed the man's instructions and was told he had found evidence of a few lumps, police said. The man made an appointment to examine the woman and arrived at her house later that day. According to police reports, the examination began when the man arrived at her home. The man rubbed the woman's breasts with baby oil and then laid his head on her breasts and began humming. The man said he detected lumps in her breasts and gave her a phone number to call for another apointment, police said. The woman, in her 20's, called police after the man left. Police said the woman was embarassed at being so naive. The number he gave the woman ws not his own, said police. I'm just passing this on, and make *NO* judgements about the incident. I just thought it was bizarre enough to post. Enjoy-- --Scott uucp: {allegra, burdvax, ihnp4}!psuvax!dickson Bitnet: BSD@PSUVM
