Cleveland, Ohio Lines: 20 I work in the psychology lab here at CWRU programming their Terak micro- computers to keep statistics for psych experiments. Well one day the pascal compiler on my disk got munged so I had to copy one off of another. everything went fine for about a week. Then, when I was compiling a quick hack, I get the message... for a:=1 to s <-- WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SHIT!?! Needless to say it certainly drew my attention to the fact that I hadn't declared the variable 's'. Any of you that are familiar with the Terak- asaurus Rex (so named for it's age, usefulness, and appetite for disks) know that it is no difficult thing to redo the error messages in the com- piler, but all the same it WAS quite a surprise. There were also some milder messages like 'ARRAY INDEX OUT OF BOUNDS, JERK' and 'STRING CONSTANT MAY NOT OVERRUN LINE, DUMMY', but it was the first one that got me. Ryan McGuire (the rm of rrrm)
