I know what the shortest program to print Merry Christmas
(hundreds of times) is.  It is:

(double quotes not included).  This is the program I get by
not pressing the "n" key when I am reading this news group.
Try it, I promise you will not only see "Merry Christmas"
over and over, but also programs that print it!  How about that!
The shortest program to generate programs that print "Merry
Christmas" 15 times :-)
