True, Laura -- but if decvax optimizes your path, why would somebody
receiving your mail ever see anything about foo?  Thus, your original
mail is going to:
floyd!burl!clyde!ihnp4!allegra!rlgvax!guy

floyd mails this on to burl, but burl's mail optimizer sends this out:
ihnp4!rlgvax!guy

Why should guy try to reply
To: allegra!ihnp4!clyde!burl!floyd!utcsstat!laura
when the mail that he received was:
From: ihnp4!burl!floyd!utcsstat!laura  ?
