I think this problem only arises if you have a mailer that inserts an
Arpa-style From: line in addition to the From lines generated by uucp
mail.  MH does this as does (I think) the Berkeley Mail command.  In
this case the letter will get received with a uucp from line that
reflects the actual path the letter took (like a chain of
Received-From: lines) (i.e. From ihnp4!burl!floyd!utcsstat!laura) while
the From: line may have allegra!ihnp4!clyde!burl!floyd!utcsstat!laura.
