I actually saw one yesterday. It was not hooked up so I didn't get to play. What I did see looked nice. The keyboard looks like full ASCII and it has a nice feel. Does anyone own one yet? What I would like to know is: 1) RS-232 interface. Does it have one? Does the literature say about any in the future? 2) Is the printer just a 'straight' daisy wheel or can you do fancy things with it (super/sub scripting, dot graphics, etc.)? 3) Software. It comes with "SmartWrite (tm)" and "SmartBasic (tm)". How about an assembler? Are the internals documented so you could write your own games? 4) Mass storage. Just how fast is the "digital data pack", operated with "FastTransfer (tm)"? Basically what I am asking is: Is it worth the $400? (I already have ColecoVision (tm)). Jeff P.S. I will summarize anything worth it and post them. -------
