Perhaps Lando and Chewbacca decided that the
Wookie was too conspicuous to be disguised as
one of Jabba's lackeys. In addition, you seem to
have forgotten that Leia probably was admitted
into the palace simply because she was disguised
as a bounty hunter who wished to collect the
reward for Chewbacca's capture; I would guess
that the guards opened the door for her.
