Most offensive individual/group: Kinky Friedman, who used to tour the Texas Honky-Tonks with his group: The Texas Jew-Boys. I heard him last month at the Lone Star, and he sang perhaps his most famous song: They Don't Make Jews Like Jesus Anymore, which continues: They don't turn the other cheek the way they used to anymore, I heard that red-neck say as he hit the hardwood floor, They don't make Jews like Jesus anymore. He managed to find something to offend just about anyone who was or could have been there. He introduced a friend as "the most influential Albino in New York." His band brought him on with the theme to "Exodus," Texas hoe-down style (pedal steel, fiddle, etc.). I loved it; some of the folks with me were not so amused. Peter S. Shenkin
