They played a big hall (the Auditorium, on campus), and though the crowd wasn't very big it sure was enthusiastic. However, doesn't it seem that the Gang of 4 is rapidly becoming the Gang of 2? After all they ditched Hugo Burnham for a drum machine -- I was pleased to see that they used a live drummer in concert, for the older songs wouldn't have been quite the same -- and Sara Lee wasn't even on stage for that many songs. But it was a good concert, and I was happy to see them here in the heartland. Even if it's the Gang of Two, the songs are still good. Too much thinking makes me ill, Ken at UIUC (...!uiucdcs!rossen) P.S. There isn't REALLY an MTV video for "Is it Love," is there??
