They are now advertising it at $439.00. I have seen 47th street photo advertising the TP-1 at about $379.00 in the NEw York Times. They are located in NEw York and do handle some mail order. THe TP-1 works great but uses the RS-232 interface in a weird manner (you may have to do some cabling) and is somewhat noisier. The Comrex was installed here at SMU and works great and is quiet. In the words of the secretary who was using it, 'at least it's not ugly.'
