I just got off the phone to the salesman, they have a 1200 baud (212A)- 2400 baud (V22 bis standard) modem with a unit one price of $995. The dialer version costs $1195. This price is much less than the $2000 we were going to pay for a racal vadic 4400. Has anyone used this modem? Does it have any problems? How standard is the V22 bis standard going to be? Are there any other modems like this on the market? I talked the salesman into letting me borrow two for a week. I will send my conclusions to the net. linus!sid
