    WANTED - A program for finite element analysis of hypervelocity
  impacts of particles onto plates, probably based on the GRAY equation
  of state.

    As an ignorant newcomer, what is the protocol for begging/stealing such soft
ware from people who have already developed it in an academic or commercial 
situation?
