Unilateral disarmiment would be a mistake. While I would like to believe that the U.S.S.R. would throw down its arms and join us in peace, I'm no dummy. The main problem with a unilateral disarmiment is that it is too sudden a change. A gradual build-down might work, if the action is recipriocated by the Soviets.
