Actually, from any journalists I have met
the impression I got is that they don't believe in the
myth of objective journalism any more than you or I, 
but are afraid to give the impression that they
don't. This is because they are either defensive
about public misgivings of their field already,
or if they did their (also unbelieving) editors would
can them.

How sad.
