The line about if you love let it go and if it comes back...
rang a few subconsious bells. Another line that one could use
in the same situation of course could be "If you love someone 
you'll do anything for them except love them again". Unfortunately
I have no idea who said that (I think it's Thorton Wilder) Anyone 
out there really know who said it??
