Women look to men for "generosity", "wealth" and "breadwinning"?

Bear in mind that such a survey by a "women's magazine" might very well
have a slanted sample of the population. It's just possible that the
women who read that magazine are by and large the type who fantasize
about men playing a particular role in their lives, and who have certain
expectations about marriage, and who are reading the magazine because
they are bored with their own lives, and....

I'd prefer to see some information on the survey method before placing
any weight in such a claim.
