       Sexually Oriented PAMS and the Dating Game...

     Recently I have been logging into a  sexually  oriented
PAMS  located in Carlsbad California [(619) 434-4600].  This
particular PAMS is operating under the name  of  "Dial  Your
Match  #11".  The first reason that I'm posting this article
is so that net.singles readers can take advantage of a great
service.

     I'm assuming that this type of service is  not  readily
available through out the country so I will take the time to
explain it in detail.  Generally  a  PAMS  (Personal  Access
Message  System)  allows one to log in and read or send mail
to other users located on that PAMS.  Most PAMS  also  offer
other  options  like  reading/posting articles in the public
bulletin  boards,  finding  out  information   about   local
events/entertainment,  down  loading  programs, and the list
goes on...

     At DYM #11 the story is a bit different.  One can still
log in and send/read mail, but this type of PAMS is designed
to act as a "electronic matchmaker".  In  fact  there  is  a
matchmaker option that will take the answers of a user ques-
tionnaire and search the data base for likely matches.   The
likely parties mail each other messages, and one thing leads
to another (hopefully!).  Of course this is greatly  simpli-
fied, but I think you get the general picture.

     I might note that this DYM is not filled with smut  and
pornography  as the general public would think when one men-
tions something that is  sexually  oriented.   It's  just  a
great  method  of  singles  (male/female)  to meet others of
their sexual preference (straight/bisexual/gay).

     After using DYM #11 and other PAMS I think the time for
sexually  oriented  PAMS  has come to age.  The service that
DYM #11, and other PAMS like it, provides is a  needed  one.
It  is  a great system that allows for single people to meet
other single people without actually knowing them.   I  feel
that   this  is  a  much  better  alternative  than  private
business's attempt at "Match Making Services".

     I think that this is such a good idea that  I  plan  to
write a user friendly sexually oriented PAMS for my micro at
home.  This is the second reason for posting  this  article.
I  would  like  to  query  the net.singles audience on their
opinion on systems like DYM #11.  I'm also asking for  ques-
tions  that  you  think  would  be  relevant ones to ask the
users, ones that would help  to  determine  matches  between
users.  (What the heck let's go all the way, if you have any
opinion about this subject  please  let  me  know.  ie  past
experiences good/bad, suggestions, etc...)
