I can assure you that it is rarely comfortable for any of the parties. If no relationships had existed we all would have been very good friends, as it was things were very strung out. This may seem like an obvious statement, but I guess I was hoping that it would not be the case. The best suggestion that I have for such meetings is to downplay ANY forms of intimacy with either person. This may only make things bearable, but at least it will hopefully keep searing jelousies from flaring. In my case permitted me to keep up some form of contact with my ex-girlfriend without having to deal with "How could you go out with such a bitch??" interferences. All in all, I do not think that there is any way that the average person would be comfortable in such a situation, it is not human nature. David C.
