My father once had a business associate who said that he preferred
to hire employees who had unhappy (yes, UNhappy) marriages.  He
contended that happily married workers had other things than their
jobs to keep them busy; if you want a real work-horse, he advised,
hire somebody who dreads going home at night.

Ah, the wonders of the capitalist ethic!                       :-(
