It's always a personal loss, and to me it always hurts. Like, that used to be ME. That could be ME. Why can't that be ME? A lot of times I think I'm very possessive, and losing a girlfriend is similar to losing anything I treasure. I guess maybe I need help understanding other people's own wants and preferences.
