Lines: 19 Chris Kent has hit the nail on the head. It's the auto-disconnect "feature" of the console DECwriter. If it's bugging you, here's how to turn it off: push SETUP and hold it down. Press 'D'. The display will show '1' (meaning auto-disconnect is on). Press 'D' again, and the display should change to a '0'. Press SHIFT-9. This saves away the current settings. The display will go blank for a short while. Finally, relese the SETUP key. Voila! Does wonders for the paper usage. -- In-Real-Life: Chris Torek, Univ of MD Comp Sci UUCP: {seismo,allegra,brl-bmd}!umcp-cs!chris CSNet: chris@umcp-cs ARPA: chris.umcp-cs@CSNet-Relay
