It seems to me that in the old days when we hacked each other with
swords that there was a good reason for women not being in wars as
much as men.  They aren't usually as strong.  Guns, however, don't take
a lot of strength.  What counts most in todays wars is endurance and
I don't think men have more natural endurance than women.

I guess now the reason is mostly social.  I can't see that as being
valid.
