Well, the Tories certainly have a public relations coup today.  Joe
"let's move the embassy to Jerusalem, maybe" Clark has been appointed head
of a PC study of the arms race.  The mind boggles when attempting to imagine
the kinds of proposals that may arise.

Seriously, though, the move is welcome.  While a cynic would say that it is
merely an attempt by the PC's to bolster their foreign policy image, it
could possibly produce some interesting and useful ideas and is, at very
least, some recognition of the importance Canadians attach to this issue.
