The Cabbage Patch Dolls: Why do people like them?  Answer seems to be:
  the unique design of each doll, the adoption papers and the birthday card.

"Walking to the Left in England" expanded to include the use of eating
  implements: forks appear to be used differently in different countries.
  In addition, it was asked whether tilting of the head during kissing
  exhibited the same regional left/right differences.

Arguments for and the announcement of the new net.celts newsgroup.

The results of the previous survey asking for sites which were involved
  in ocean-related work.

Also: Four Christmas posters (artwork), explanation of Kosher as being
  ritually clean as opposed to "only" physically clean,  an observation
  that New Hampshire never legally adopted the 55-mph speed limit so
  70 mph is generally accepted, a call for the collection of humorous
  "famous last words," a reference for the Turing language, and discussion
  of the bias exhibited in history lessons (slanted toward the country
  of residence).
