Before investing on this system, I listened very closely to many table/tonearm/cartridge combinations, including Linn Sondek with high-priced Dynavector MC cartridges, etc. I chose the Oracle/Shure/SME because it is THE best, no matter what the price. The rest of my gear: KEF 105.2 speakers, Threshold Stasis 3 amp, Thaedra preamp, and Studer B67 tape machine. I use Litz wire and 800-strand high-current speaker cable. All connectors are gold.
