Lines: 16 x The 944 has a Reynolds 390 die-cast-aluminum block with linerless bores and aluminum cylinder heads with in-line valves and hydraulic lifters. I don't know why this would mean that you coudn't turbocharge it later. Porsche itself is supposed to come out with a 944 turbo as an '85 model. Rumor has it that this car is very, very fast (faster than a 911) and will not be cheap. I don't know about your area, but the current wait for a 944 here in New England is about a year, unless you want to pay $2-4K over list. --Jim--
