With 40,800 miles, I need replacement tires and would like to
request advise/information.

Current Tire: Bridgestone 195-70-14 (originals).  Problem I've always
had was poor rear traction in rain/snow.  I am now getting a bad shimmy
which my alignment Guy says is due to the worn tires(layer separation).

To improve rear traction, would like to go with next size i.e. 205-70-14.
The tires whose price I'm warming-up to is Michelins XVS 205-70-14 at
$105 ea.  Any comments/recommendation are most welcomed.
