   My experience with auto brokers has been:  I can get a better deal
through good, hard, seat-of-the-pants negotiation directly with the
dealer than by going through a broker.  Note that I said DEALER.  This means
the OWNER of the dealership, not one of his employees.  

  By the way, I buy only new Subarus.
