I own a '78 Chevette which for periods ( < month.) drinks oil by the quart,
and at other times holds it fairly well. My mechanic can find no leak,
and though I smell what I think is burning oil from time to time,
the exhaust smoke is not black. Suggestions by mail are appreciated.
