In his R&T interview Lee Iaccoca had some nice things to say about the Pantera being a lot of car for the money (in the early 70's) and selling used for "$28K". Since the Pantera is still available in Europe (I think) throwing a Chrysler engine into it and federalizing it here would be a cheap way for Chryler to offer something in the Corvette class. He also liked the Maserati Biturbo but we probably won't see a 260hp, twin-turbo V-12 Horizon soon.
