Having only moved to central New Jersey a couple of years ago, I'm not sure how old this custom is, but many of the residents around here have this strange habit of decorating their cars for Christmas by tying an evergreen wreath, usually with a big red bow, and usually a natural one, to the grille of their car or truck. While cute, it seems a little bizarre. Is this an extremely localized phenomenon, (I never saw it in Pittsburgh!), or do millions of people across the country have this habit? Any comments?
