Lines: 13 Sounds like the book you refer to is "The Little Prince", which I believe is a French novel (Le Petit Prince). I originally read this book during a high school French class. It is not as short as a short story, but it is definitely on the small side. I can't quite remember the author's name...I want to say Saint-Saens, but he was a composer. As for the details: the way I remember it, the prince lived on a little planet all alone, save for his Rose. He came to visit earth and saw many un-nice people before seeing the Pilot, who had crashed in the desert (Sahara?). --Jim O'Toole
