The Soft Machines paper was also very worthwhile. More when I go over the proceedings closely. Like Bob Allen, I'd be very interested in other peoples' reviews. p. rowley, U. Toronto P.S. I largely agree with Mr. Allen's comment about people re-inventing wheels, though there is not a lot of solid work to base further work on. An exception to this is the keystroke model, which was referenced many times. On the other hand, it was a shame not to see much cog. sci. work referenced; surely some of it would be applicable.
