It is delicious when served hot. ---------- Old English Wassail I. 3 c. sugar 3 c. water Boil and set aside. II. Place in cloth or sack 2 sticks cinnamon 1 t. cloves (whole) 1 t. candied ginger Add to sugar mixture, do NOT boil. Let stand overnight. III. Juice of 6 oranges Juice of 3 lemons 2 c. strong black tea 1 qt. cider Mix, heat & serve.
