you can also remove stains from mugs, ceramic /porcelain 
sinks by sprinkling on comet and letting set overnight. no
scrubbing, just be sure to lightly dampen area to be 
cleaned before using comet. it's a lazy way to do it,
but leaves more time for hacking!
