I've been using it for many years and has been well received. Watch it. It is strong. One batch is enough for about 20 to 30 people (one drink is enough). It must be served warm. Enjoy Steve Schwarm --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 1/2 cinnamon sticks 3 cloves 3 cardamon seeds 2 oz. citron 1 oz. candied lemon peel 1 os candied orange peel 1/2 cup raisins 1 cup water boil for 15 min. in large stainless steel or enamel pot carmalize 3 cups sugar add spices per above 1 qt. dry sherry 1 qt claret wine 1 qt port 1/5 gal brandy burn lumped sugar over it(optional) then add 1 qt 200 proof (or 100 proof vodka)
