Lines: 12 Well, with my microwave (Amana) came a cookbook that had a recipe for microwave chocolate chip cookies, great, eh? They were pretty awful. Problems were manifold, but the worst are that the distribution of microwaves tended to locally carmelize the sugar in a few spots, and when that happens you get a royal mess to clean up. Whatever, cookies only take a few minutes to cook the normal way! By the way, I have also heard (but not tried) that if you try to cook an Angel food cake in a microwave it comes out like Elmers Glue (yum!) -- Ken Shoemaker, Intel, Santa Clara, Ca. {pur-ee,hplabs,ucbvax!amd70,ogcvax!omsvax}!intelca!kds
