  What do you mean, Texas is better off in the Union? Texas natural
gas must (by federal regulation) be sold at a fixed price to out-of-
state customers -- the gas producers thus must sell at a HIGHER price
within the state! And then the Feds turn around and drag their feet
in selling (sub-standard grade!) grain to west Texas ranchers whosse
cattle are dying because of the drought!

  Just think, if we seceded, we could apply for membership in OPEC! :-)
