That's why there is no pure socialist or pure capitalist economies. I think the capitalist vs socialist argument is not meaningful unless you discuss SPECIFIC areas of their application; ie, should utilities be socialized or controlled by public agencies? And just what do you mean by socialism? Why don't we just forget these ambiguous words altogether and talk in specific terms like `public ownership' (as in stocks or government corporations), instead of making it seem like a contest between Us and Them.
