Concocted results and shoddy methodology are not uncommon among research psychologists, especially in the university "publish or perish" environment. I know, because I tried to be one. Fortunately, my major professor (Wisconsin's altruism and aggression maven Leonard Berkowitz, then Chairman of the Psychology Dept.) and I had a fight in 1973 over what he called "science" and I called "kids playing with a chemistry set", which I obviously lost. -- *** *** JE MAINTIENDRAI ***** ***** ****** ****** ken perlow ***** ***** (312)979-7261 ** ** ** ** ..ihnp4!ihuxq!ken *** ***
