Lines: 16 I find that when I try to justify my dislike of consistent misspellings (esp. your and you're type misspellings), it comes down to this: it is just (somewhat irrationally) irritating. I feel the same way (sort of) when my sister squishes shampoo bottles and then closes them so they stay squished, or when my brother sits down to watch TV and automatically picks up a piece of paper and starts tearing it into little, teensy bits. I think that a lot of flaming about grammar comes from a gut surge of irritation, then justified (and my position is, usually correctly, but see 'consistent' above). Now, did that make any sense? (I know it wasn't entirely grammatically correct) - rene -- Arpa: rene.umcp-cs@CSNet-relay Uucp:...{allegra,seismo}!umcp-cs!rene
