Lines: 16 I hereby cast my vote for "Earwig" as the best term possible to refer to the system "cracker". I have avoided this discussion up to now, but this is too good a term to ignore. I was a "Twilight Zoner" when it was a new show, and the earwig story was the most memorable for me. Those familiar with the theme would have to agree that it is the ideal term. For those unfamiliar with the story, I was reminded of it by an alien relative to the earwig which was used in the more recent "Star Trek II". The effects of the earwig were made more devastating by the fact that it was an egg bearing female. 'Nuff said? As a final supporting argument, I rank the earwig right along side the mosquito as the most detestable of nature's perversions. Support your local Pest Control Administrator!
