I know there are a tremendous number of nodes reachable out there and am curious just how many are in this happy little family. I know that within Digital, we have 1993 nodes defined in our databases and anywhere from 1100 to 1600 of them are reachable at any time. But, that doesn't count what is available through our gateways to USENET, ARPANET, BITNET, CSNET etc, it's only the count for the internal DEC network (we call it Enet...). I'd be interested to know how many machines are in the other networks. For that matter, I'd like to know get a complete list of networks that exist too. Thanks for any help you might provide. bob wyman USENET: {Shasta, ucbvax}decvax!rhea!atfab!wyman ENET: ATFAB::WYMAN
