I posted this to chi.general about a week ago and got some interesting responses but nothing from anyone who actually uses a slide rule for technical work. (Several used it as a reminder of the difficulties they had to get through in studying engineering. Some just can't throw theirs away and keep them just to look at them.) Anyway, I've passed along to the reporter the responses so far. Now to broaden the request.... Does anyone out there in net.general-land use a slide rule to do technical work?
