San Diego Lines: 15 Another warning message from the Burroughs B6000/B7000 series COBOL compiler... We got this error back when I was in high school. My friend and I were taking a COBOL class at the local junior college, and he was having trouble with an INVALID INDEX error (run-time error). He got a compiled listing of the program, and directly after the line causing the error, the compiler had printed: WARNING: SUBSCRIPT WILL CAUSE INVALID INDEX AT RUN-TIME. Thanks a lot!
