Lines: 28 Once upon a time, a long long time ago ... The Count was suspected of plotting against the King. The King threatened to kill kim unless he revealed the identities of the co-conspirators. The Count's neck was on the chopping block. The executioner raised his hatchet high and demanded, "Talk!" "Never! I'll never talk!" the Count replied. So the executioner brought the hatchet down and ... ... stopped just one inch from the Count's neck. "I'm giving you another chance," the executioner said. "Talk!" But the Count refused. So the executioner brought the hatchet down and ... split a hair on the Count's neck. The Count was visibly shaken. The executioner raised the hatchet again and said "This is your last chance! Talk or die!" "No!" the Count retorted. So the executioner swung and, as the hatchet fell, the Count yelled desperately "I'll talk! I'll talk!" But it was too late. The Count was killed. MORAL: Don't hatchet your Counts before they chicken. It's your fault -- I told you it was a groaner. --Paul Torek, umcp-cs!flink
