The system, known as T-Net, posseses a distinct advantage over the Wang and Digital nets, because it has the ability to transfer large amounts of arbitrary matter through time. Using one co-axial cable, it can transfer an average-sized office to any time within two thousand years -- in about three minutes. The system, which runs at 76839641962 baud, creates a full specification of the matter to be transferred and then sends it, atom by atom, over the wire. Thyme has refused to say how the time travel is achieved. A Thyme spokesman said that the uses would be incredible, stating that the raw materials to build the machine came from a mine that they established in 3749. He added that bus- inessmen can now solve their problems before they happen and make extremely accurate financial predictions.
