The article mentioned (correctly) that the proper phrase is <>, but the one that students used incorrectly is <> (which means that the person saying it is sexually hot). This reminds me of a similar mistake made by some friends of mine in high school. They were referring to a guy who was a "hot dog" in sports as <>, which means "dog in heat".
