We once started a large C port project. The first problem was
that we couldn't find enough able-bodied C men. Then it turned
out that NONE of them were compiler hackers, so we had to start
from scratch on the briny depths of the deep blue C.
Unfortunately, most of our bugs were real C monsters, which
chewed a lot of people up. At last report, they were STILL
drowning in the C.
