I tried that and the 30 megabyte drive which held /mnt crashed.  The whole
system went down, and when I arrived in the terminal room, thick, black
smoke was billowing out of the VAX.  The fire department arrived just in
time to save our backup tapes.  Now we have to buy a whole new VAX, just
because of that stupid joke!
